My introduction to the diamond industry came in the summer of 2019 on Chicago's Jewelers Row. A childhood friend introduced me to her father — one of the most respected diamond companies in the business for 35 years. I started with the basics. Shipping, receiving, answering phones.
But I was immediately captivated. The product, the market, the sheer volume of money moving through the trade. I knew I wanted in.
My mentor taught me everything: how to evaluate stones, read the market, negotiate, sell. But more than the technical knowledge, I saw what it looked like to build a reputation on pure integrity. That stuck with me.

By mid-2021 I had made an impulsive but necessary decision — I packed up and moved to Miami. The city was flowing with money, the diamond business was shifting south, and I was ready. I started meeting people, building relationships, and naturally fell into serving private clients alongside my wholesale accounts.
I realized I had a genuine edge. My understanding of the wholesale market meant I could offer anyone the same pricing the stores buy at — without the retail markup.

Chicago's Jewelers Row
Started under a 35-year veteran of the wholesale diamond trade. Shipping, receiving, phones — learning from the ground up.
2021
Miami
Moved to Florida as the diamond business shifted south. Built a private client base while maintaining wholesale accounts.
2022
Goldman Gems founded
Launched the business formally. Direct-to-consumer wholesale pricing — the same deals dealers get, available to anyone.
2023
Seybold Building
First office in Miami's Seybold Jewelers Building. 250 square feet. Eight months later, outgrew it and opened across the street.
Now
North Miami Showroom
Private client studio at 11900 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 602. By appointment. No pressure. The deal is always the deal.
